This postgraduate department offers treatment for all types of psychiatric and behavioral problems. It offers treatment for drug and alcohol addictions. Special emphasis is given for the use of psychological methods for treatment such as cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, child and adolescent counseling, marital counseling and family therapy. Psychiatric emergencies are attended to, on round-the-clock basis. Education of other clinical colleagues in handling sociopolitical issues is a special aspect of the department activity.
