The department of Urology undertakes patient evaluation and medical and surgical management in the areas of endourology , infertility , paediatric and general urology, reconstructive urology and uro-oncology. Adult and paediatric cystocope, resectoscope with special diathermies, endoscopic internal urethrotome and mechanical lithotrite are available in the department to carry out specialized procedures.

The procedure room maintains modern technology that enables numerous procedures to be operated in a safe and timely manner. These procedure include prostatic and bladder biopsies , percutaneous renal biopsy, vasectomy , ureteral stent removal /insertion , as well as flexible cystoscopy.
